Charles Valentine

Drawing on his background as an EOD technician, Charles has led the design of the EHART system, a portable AR platform that allows teams to train with realistic ordnance models anywhere in the world. His work, informed by over a decade of EOD experince in the SOF community, conventional forces, and humanitarian mine action, focuses on reducing costs and logistical barriers to training, while ensuring compliance with IMAS standards and strengthening knowledge retention in the field.

Over the past year, he has overseen deployments of EHART with the Danish Army, the Danish Refugee Council, and the HALO Trust. In parallel, his team has built one of the largest and accurate digital libraries of 3D ordnance models in the sector, supporting training, risk education, and future AI applications. Charles regularly engages with humanitarian organizations, militaries, and innovation accelerators to advance the use of spatial computing in mine action, with a goal of making EOD training more accessible, scalable, and effective.
