Lieutenant Colonel Zenteno is a US Army Officer currently serving as the Deputy Director for the NATO EOD COE. His previous assignments include:

• Operations Officer, and Senior Operations Observer, Controller, Trainer, 1-290^th Brigade Support Battalion
• Commander, 53^D EOD Company
• Executive Officer and Platoon Leader, 704^th EOD Company (Deployed Afghanistan)
• Commander, Headquarters and Headquarters Detatchment, 71^st EOD Group

He holds a Bachelor of the Arts (BA) degree in political science from Northern Illinois University and a Masters in Professional Studies degree from Pennsylvania State University in Homeland Security.
