IED Threat Officer
Graham Keel is a former British Army Ammunition Technical Officer (ATO) and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) specialist with extensive experience in Improvised Explosive Device Disposal (IEDD), Weapons Intelligence Specialist (WIS) activity, and specialist training.
During more than 18 years in the British Army, Graham gained operational experience in the UK, the Balkans, Iraq and Afghanistan, including IEDD operations, overseas operational tours as a WIS operator, and roles supporting the development of forensic exploitation, weapons intelligence, and counter-CBRNe capabilities. After leaving the Army in 2014, he worked as a freelance EOD, IEDD and WIS consultant, supporting and leading a range of national and international training projects.
Since 2019, Graham has worked on Project Masam in Yemen as the IED Threat Officer, supporting technical assessment, threat analysis, counter-IED training, and guidance relating to the use of landmines, IEDs, and associated explosive threats by terrorist and non-state armed groups.
